November 19, 2024 (KANSAS CITY, Mo.) — United Country Real Estate has marked yet another consecutive year of multiple honors from Franchise Business Review (FBR). The lifestyle and land real estate company’s latest awards for 2024 include Top 200 Franchise, Top Franchise for Veterans, Franchise Rock Star and Top Low-Cost Franchise.
These newest awards underscore United Country’s resiliency in an ever-changing industry, as well as its commitment to ensuring the ongoing success of hundreds of affiliates from coast-to-coast and in select international markets.
A national leader in selling land, lifestyle, country and rural properties, the company will celebrate its 100th Anniversary in 2025. United Country has numerous initiatives in the works to highlight its long history and achievements of the more than 400 independently-owned-and-operated brokerage offices in its network.
“The FBR awards this year as in years past, speak to a high level of franchisee satisfaction, our network strength and our comprehensive training and support programs, among other contributing factors,” said United Country Real Estate President Mike Duffy. “Within the scope of all of this is our mission of constant innovation, our promise of broader exposure for our clients’ property listings and our ability to remain successful during any type of market shift.”
One of the tenements of the United Country program is the local property expertise of its franchisees combined with the wide-reaching marketing power of the company’s home office in Kansas City, Mo. But these franchisees also stand out in other ways, as seen by the 2024 Franchise Rock Star Award given to United Country Real Estate | Blue Sky Homes and Land, which specializes in country homes, ranches, commercial real estate, farmland, hunting properties and more.
FBR recognized the Cortez, Colo.-based brokerage for its continuous display of community engagement and efforts to give back. Broker/owner Bill Stanley and his team can be seen regularly promoting community events, volunteering and supporting small businesses. Staffers are involved in efforts to help area food banks, animal shelters, first responders, school districts and other groups in Southwest Colorado.
For United Country | Blue Sky Homes and Land, it’s all about making the best use of its platform and status as a respected and successful local business. This means spreading awareness of and bringing attention to the community’s people and organizations in need of some assistance.
“There’s a whole lot Bill and his team do to give back to the community, and they do it all with a smile,” Duffy said. “These are some of the kindest people you’ll ever meet in all of Colorado, and they’re among the dedicated professionals who’ve helped make United Country what it is today.”
FBR provides the only national ranking of franchises based solely on franchisee satisfaction and performance data each year. The independent research firm surveys thousands of franchise owners representing the strongest franchise brands. Survey questions focus on franchisee experience and satisfaction with training, support, operations, financial opportunity and other core business drivers.
